Mozilla解释说，它很方便查看每天都在变化的网站。只需输入“xk”就可以查看今天的xkcd，或者只需几次按键就可以查看您所在地区的天气。要返回到您所在的页面，请按Escape。这是一个很有希望的工具，它可能不会进入Firefox4.0的最终版本，但可以很容易地添加。

Prospector是运行firefox4的beta预览版（最终是最终版本）的任何人都可以免费下载的。
