Also known as the Computerized tomography scan the process is used to make details picture of internal organs of human body and other structures that exist within by using x-rays. The process is simple where the device combines several images of x-ray that are taken from different angles and then uses computer programming to create images that are either cross-sectional or in slices. The parts of the body that become prominent with the help of this process include the slices of bones, blood vessels, soft tissues and others and provide detailed information when compared with a general radiology test. This process mostly gets used for issues such as soft tissues, for the pelvis where other instruments aren’t feasible, to check the flow of blood vessels, human lungs, brain, abdomen and the ruptures within the bones. Another thing to remember is that it is close to the MRI scan in many ways. Although most people confused the CAT and CT scan as different, there are not many variati*** as they become the different name of the same process.
