什么是网络基础设施？(network infrastructure?)
网络基础设施是一组相互连接的计算机系统，由电信体系结构的各个部分连接起来。具体而言，该基础设施指的是其各个部分的组织及其配置——从单个联网计算机到路由器、电缆、无线接入点、交换机、主干网、网络协议和网络接入方法。基础设施可以是开放式的，也可以是封闭式的，例如Internet的开放式体系结构或专用intranet的封闭式体系结构。它们可以通过有线或无线网络连接或两者的组合进行操作。
最简单的网络基础设施形式通常包括一台或多台计算机、一个网络或Internet连接，以及一个将计算机连接到网络连接并将各种系统相互连接的集线器。集线器仅连接计算机，但不限制进出任何一个系统的数据流。为了控制或限制系统之间的访问并调节信息流，交换机取代了集线器，以创建网络协议，定义系统之间的通信方式。为了允许这些系统创建的网络通过网络连接与其他系统进行通信，需要一个路由器，根据每个网络的规则，路由器桥接网络并基本上提供数据交换的通用语言。
当一个家庭中的多台计算机共享同一个Internet连接时，无论计算机是否彼此共享信息，它都被视为网络基础设施的基本形式。互联网本身是一种更先进的网络基础设施，在这种基础设施中，各个系统访问一个包含各种系统信息的全球网络，并允许使用web标准和协议进行访问，这些标准和协议通常以web地址（也称为URL）为框架。

在构建网络基础设施时，网络安全通常是首要考虑的问题。大多数架构使用带有内置防火墙的路由器，以及允许微调用户访问控制、数据包监控和严格定义协议的软件。还可以通过调整各个系统上的网络共享属性来控制安全性，从而限制网络上其他用户可以看到的文件夹和文件。
