什么是试井？(a well test?)
试井是对油井进行评估，以了解其产能和从油井中提取的产品特性。该术语通常专门指测试水井，但也可以对油气井进行测试。专门从事试井的公司可以向客户提供各种服务，并且通常愿意前往偏远的井场。根据所需的测试类型，测试费用可能会有所不同。
对于一口水井，一个重要的问题是这口井能产出多少水。随着泵的运行，将水从井中抽出，地下水位开始下降，这种现象被称为水位下降。通过以最大容量运行泵，并将井排干，可能会使含水层的内容物下降得过快。在试井中，一家公司可以确定泵在任何给定时间内可以安全抽取多少水，在允许含水层恢复的同时将水抽出。
