什么是世界上不同的货币？(the different currencies of the world?)
世界货币在各自国家被用作交换媒介。它们可以兑换商品和服务，也可以兑换其他货币。硬币和纸币是两种货币形式。世界各地使用的货币很多，但其中一些更为著名的是美元、英镑和欧洲欧元。
在许多情况下，世界货币由较大的货币单位和小数单位组成。这种分数单位通常是较大单位的1/100，例如美国的情况。美元及其分数单位，美分。毛里塔尼亚和马达加斯加的辅币价值为其较大货币的五分之一，是世界上仅存的两个货币不采用十进制的国家。然而，世界上几乎所有货币都存在价格通胀现象，这使得这些特定的分数货币几乎没有实际用途。

外汇市场的存在是为了促进世界各国货币之间的兑换。根据不断波动的价格，一种货币可以兑换另一种货币。根据经济数据、贸易政策和其他因素，一种货币相对于另一种货币的价格可能会发生变化。如果一种货币可以兑换成相对大量的另一种货币，则称之为“强势”，如果它只购买一小部分，则称之为“弱势”。例如，如果一欧元可以兑换1.45美元。如果欧元只能购买1.10美元，那么可以说欧元是坚挺的。
