什么是现在的价格？(a current price?)
当前价格是资产可以购买或出售的直接价格。在金融市场中，当前价格通常被称为现货价格或实时价格。“现货价格”一词可用于证券、商品和其他金融资产。
可从交易所和经纪人处获得当前价格的报价。现货价格是签订合同所必需的。资产的现货价格是通过发现过程得出的。发现仅仅是以各种价格对资产进行的日常交易，价格由供求关系决定。
价格是根据投标价格和要价报价的。投标价格是买方愿意支付的最高价格。要价是卖方愿意出售的最低价格。这些价格之间的差额称为价差。
当前价格可能在整个市场时间内波动，但在任何给定时间，都存在当前价格或现货价格。现货价格波动导致可交易资产。以不同价格买卖这些资产的个人称为交易员。交易者可以按当前现货价格进行买卖，如果是衍生品，则可以按未来价格进行买卖。

货币报价为与其他货币相关的当前价格。美元指数的现货价格是相对于其他六种国际货币报价的。以即期货币价格进行交易也称为外汇或外汇。
