什么是新产品开发？(new product development?)
对于一个自己提出产品想法的人来说，发展可能是由直觉和家人和朋友的投入引导的。然而，在商业世界中，每一个创建产品的企业通常都有一个特定的新产品开发（NPD）方法。当公司有首席技术官（CTO）时，这很可能是他或她的领域，他或她可能会带来个人方法或使用某种标准的新产品开发流程。
