什么是建筑渲染？(an architectural rendering?)
建筑效果图是建筑师使用的二维文件，通过说明结构完工后和使用时的外观，来展示拟议的设计。在许多情况下，建筑渲染将包括景观、区域天气和人口等元素。例如，拟议中的大学建筑可以在建筑渲染中进行说明，其方式是将建筑置于现有结构的位置。它还可能包括人们在建筑物附近行走或站在建筑物内的叠加图像。这些人的图像将从其他来源借用，大小将与渲染的规模相匹配。。
这样的渲染是为了照片真实感，但肉眼通常可以清楚地看到，渲染实际上不是真实地点的照片。一个非常高质量的建筑渲染乍一看可能看起来像是一张真实的照片。渲染越大、越逼真，创建的成本就越高。根据建筑公司的规模和范围，渲染可能由内部工作人员创建。公司将这项工作外包给专门从事建筑模型和渲染的公司也是很常见的。。
建筑渲染有多种用途。除了使用渲染向客户展示设计概念外，渲染还可以用于公司的营销材料中。如果客户决定使用渲染中呈现的设计，或者是渲染中呈现的稍微修改版本的设计，则尤其如此。由于一个结构从设计到完工可能需要几年的时间，建筑公司可能会使用建筑渲染来显示尚未完工的结构。渲染可以用于营销材料、公司网站，也可以在办公室大厅展示。。
除了上面描述的静态建筑渲染外，还有计算机动画渲染。这些类型的渲染允许用户对提议的结构进行虚拟参观。最常见的情况是为大型或高度专业化的结构创建这种建筑渲染。拟议结构的此类虚拟参观可能包括与结构相关的内部和外部空间参观。
