什么是帮助别人的行为？(a helping behavior?)
帮助行为，又称亲社会行为，是一种社会心理学理论。这一理论描述了人们为造福他人而采取的行动。这些行为是一种活动模式，通常不是基于动机，而是基于这些行为如何影响他人。
亲社会行为被归类为利他主义帮助行为。一个人参与具体的行动，比如分享、帮助和安慰，没有任何自私的期望。这个人做这些行为纯粹是为了帮助别人。关于这种行为有五种不同的观点。
亲属选择理论是帮助行为的一个视角。在这个理论中，帮助行为心理学可以归因于进化。自然选择促成了生存理念，如果人类缺乏适应环境变化的能力，就会被排除在进化过程之外。为了在具有相似基因组成的人群中生存，人们会保持理想的行为。
第二种观点称为消极状态缓解模式帮助行为。社会心理学研究人员利用这一视角来解释帮助行为是如何自私自利的。它指出，帮助行动是人们在类似情况下为减轻自身压力而采取的行动。人们在自己可能面临的情况下帮助他人，但他们可能会避免帮助经历不同情况的人。
移情利他主义是一种理论，认为帮助行为是由移情触发的，移情是一种与人认同并理解他们所经历和感受的能力。研究发现移情和帮助行为之间存在关系。根据这一理论，这种想法是移情的人被他们的移情所触发而采取行动。
互惠帮助行为是第四种观点。一般来说，人们帮助他人时，并不考虑由此带来的个人利益。这一理论认为，人们在帮助他人时会考虑自己未来的利益，只要利益大于牺牲。未来的福利可以包括被帮助人的类似还款。
帮助行为的最后一个视角是社会交换理论。虽然帮助行动的概念并不围绕一个人可能因此获得什么，但有些情况下是出于个人利益。与互惠理论类似，社会交换理论的基础是人们帮助他人获得回报。奖励可以是外部的，如友谊，也可以是内部的，如自我满足。
