练习你要说的话。如果你在做演讲，站在镜子前，这样你就能看到自己的样子。它还可以帮助你进行其他类型的谈话，例如，如果你想表现出同情，你就不会让别人觉得你是在威胁别人。

选择合适的讨论地点。俗话说：“公开表扬，私下惩罚。”这是一条很好的经验法则。这样做的目的是不要让你试图与之沟通的人被你所处的位置分散注意力。

知道你想说什么。虽然你不一定要记住演讲稿（虽然在某些情况下它很有用），但要知道你想表达的观点。如果你要参与双向对话，了解你想要沟通的关键点将允许你在对话开始偏离主题时重新回到话题上来。

说得好。保持你的语言整洁。使用正确的语法和完整的句子。不要在句子中插入太多的“嗯”或“你知道”。不要咕哝。

保持眼神交流。这让人们觉得你是在和他们说话，而不是在和他们说话。

使用非语言交流。手势、面部表情、肢体语言都能帮助你表达观点。不要害怕使用它们，但要正确使用它们。不要毫无目的地挥舞手臂。用手势强调重点。

听一张教室海报上写道：如果你在说话，你就没有在听。倾听对你观点的回应将使你能够微调你的演讲，使之更有效。

提出问题，表明你在倾听，并能澄清你所听到的内容，以便你能做出正确的回答。

不要恳求或抱怨。保持幽默感，以免冒犯他人。
