什么是持续改进计划？(a continuous improvement plan?)
持续改进计划也称为持续质量改进计划或CIP，是旨在审查特定情况并确定增强或改进所有相关因素的策略的计划。作为持续指导过程的一部分，企业有时会使用此类计划为其员工制定持续教育和交叉培训计划。该方法还可用于审查工作场所的程序，并找到提高总体效率和产量的方法。
CIP或持续改进过程可用于评估几乎任何业务环境中的政策和程序。这样做的目的是使已经很好的东西变得更好，从而使公司总体受益。例如，一家公司可能会仔细研究一个生产过程，并确定通过将一个步骤重新组织为两个步骤，并在生产线中增加另一个人，每小时生产的单位数量可能会显著增加。
当持续改进计划以员工为重点时，其目标通常是提供持续培训机会，不仅帮助员工履行当前职责，而且为他们在公司结构中的晋升做好准备。根据员工个人的背景和能力，经理和其他人将使用各种手段进一步发展各种技能，为员工认为有能力管理的任务提供培训，并在整个过程中指导员工。随着时间的推移，员工的绩效水平将重新评估，并根据可用的其他数据完善改进计划。
